ST. CHARLES — St. Charles is receiving a new fire station. Today, the city of St. Charles breaks ground on a new fire station.
In September, the department broke ground on “fire station three.” They’ll begin work on “fire station two” this morning at nine a.m.
It is located on Fredericks Road near Fairgrounds Road. Both new structures are funded by Proposition R, which passed last year.
