ST. LOUIS – Missouri Governor Mike Parson has extended the state’s drought alert until March 1, 2023.
Currently, 87% of Missouri counties face abnormally dry conditions. Conditions are not expected to improve this winter.
Governor Parson said water for livestock is just as important in winter as it is in the summer. River levels are affecting barge traffic as well.
