ST. LOUIS – There’s a push to stop solitary confinement in federal prisons. U.S. Representative Cori Bush of Missouri is introducing legislation Thursday.

The end of the ‘Solitary Confinement Act’ would also establish minimum standards for incarceration and due process protections.
