ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner faces a second contempt of court hearing on Thursday.
In the first case, Monday, April 24, a judge chose not to hold her in contempt for a trial no-show in the murder case of Brandon Scott.
An assistant prosecutor who failed to show up for the trial was on extended medical leave. In the new case, a different prosecutor failed to show up in court, also having a medical issue.
