HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — Rockford Beach Park in Jefferson County reopens today. It was closed over the weekend.
The sheriff’s office says overcrowding at the popular park along the Big River near House Springs has made it nearly impossible for them to respond to any emergencies in the park.
A man drowned there one week ago. Plus, there have been many complaints of fighting, stealing and other crimes that have made the park unsafe.
